Welcome to Impact Video UK run by Simon Smith, specialising in 8mm cine film conversion and professional video editing and filming. Impact Video is based in Bedfordshire and has created a big impact with individuals and businesses alike. Over the years our experience has grown and our clients in 8mm cine film conversion and Professional Video Editing & filming has just continued to grow.
Simon started making 8mm cine films in 1975 and decided on a career in film making. Having done a foundation course in Art at Bedford College he went on to gain a diploma in photo/film/tv production. This vocational course was taken at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design from 1981 to 1984. The 16mm short film he wrote and directed there was called: "Impact." Following work for BBC North West and Granada TV Simon went on to establish Impact Video in Bedfordshire UK in 1986.The company has worked in all the areas such as 8mm cine film conversion and professional video editing & filming that our website shows and much more. Our is aim to add value to whatever we work on; to have an impact.
